This video essay seeks to record the moment Portugal is going through in relation to the housing issue from a critical and artistic point of view: the struggles, public statements, cooperatives, questions and uncertainties about the future. The work is the result of a year of observing and recording different moments, movements and actions.
A Casa: Uma Revolução Assim… was made on the occasion of the festival Uma Revolução Assim - Luta e ficção: A Questão da Habitação (Lisbon, 25.9 - 6.10.2024), an initiative of the Goethe-Institut Portugal in collaboration with the Culturgest-Fundação Caixa Geral de Depósitos.
